Project Description
For this single-story, marsh-front home, Executive Landscaping designed and installed expansive stone terraces. Multiple levels, created with natural stone retaining walls, define the various spaces, including a dining area and fire pit, with everything kept low to the ground ensuring that the terraces complemented, rather than competed with, the home. A conjoined series of circles and squares, each bordered with stone in subtly-contrasting color, also adds a hint of definition to each space. Wide stone steps lead from one level to the other and a gently-sloped cobblestone walkway leads to the driveway. Hydrangeas in a variety of colors, black-eyed Susans and beach grasses add color and movement throughout the landscape. Raised beds encircled with stone walls create a privacy screen between this home and the neighboring house.
